S. Hadley - Norman L. Lacoste, 90, passed away on September 24, 2021 at Holyoke Healthcare Center. He was born on January 20, 1931 in Chicopee, MA to George and Edessa (Bibeau) Lacoste. Norman was raised in Chicopee and he proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War Era. He moved to South Hadley in 1985 and was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church. Norman was self-employed and worked as a carpenter and property owner for many years. Norman was a hard worker and he enjoyed relaxing with his family and friends at the camp on the CT River. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Theresa A (Lynn) Lacoste, his four sons, Larry and his wife Patricia, James and his wife Linda, Michael, David and his wife Lynn. He will also be missed by his four step-children, Roger Caron and his wife Janice, Denise Caron, Lisa Crotty and her husband John and Rhonda Fabricius and her husband Jay; as well as his brother, Jean Lacoste and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Ann R. Lacoste in 1978, his siblings, Robert and Leonard and his daughter-in-law, Holly Lacoste. Calling hours will be held at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home on Thursday, Sept. 30th from 4:00PM - 7:00PM. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Friday for 9:00 am to follow to a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Theresa's Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
