Carol A Lincoln

Brimfield- Carol A. Lincoln passed away at her home in Brimfield, MA on March 1st, 2022, at the age of 68. Born to Henry and Juanita (Williams) Houghton on January 12th, 1954 in Ware, MA, she spent her childhood playing and enjoying the company of her seven siblings. Years later, Carol met her husband and soulmate Robert Lincoln, whom together raised their two sons, Robert and Todd. In addition to being a hardworking caregiver at Genesis Healthcare as a CNA, Carol was a caregiver to everyone that was lucky enough to be part of her life. With her house being a welcoming home to whomever walked through the door and a gathering place for the entire family, Carol would ruthlessly take anyone's quarters and dimes in a good game of scat or poker, play a competitive game of pitch at the kitchen picnic table and host the best cookouts. She was the type of grandmother that remembered all your accomplishments and forgot all your mistakes. She was a wonderful combination of warmth and kindness, laughter and love.
Carol will be deeply missed by her son Robert Lincoln of Ludlow. She is also survived by her brother Donnie Houghton and loving sisters Debra Labosco of Agawam and Kimberly Popowski of Springfield.  The loss of Carol will also be felt by her grandchildren, Justin and Michael Lincoln and her great-grandchildren, Christian, Liam and Henry Lincoln. Carol will also be missed by her god daughter, loving friends, and many, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Carol is predeceased by her husband Robert and son Todd Lincoln. Carol is also predeceased by her siblings Barbara Gleason, Teddie Brooks, Kenny Houghton, brother-in-law Leonard Labosco, husband of Debra and brother-in-law Jimmy Popowski, husband of Kimberly.

Walk through visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 8th from 4-7 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Donations can be made in Carol's honor for the COPD Foundation at www.copdfoundation.org
