Granby—Jean Ann (Maheu) Plouffe, 71, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Daughter of the late Charles and Janice (Gaudette) Maheu, she was born in Holyoke on November 1, 1950 and graduated from Granby High School in 1969.
Jean went on to work in human services throughout the years and most recently for over 17 years as a Crew Supervisor for Community Options.
She was an avid equestrian and all around animal lover. Her favorite pastimes were camping, boating, planting flowers, and playing rummy, cribbage, or pitch. She was larger than life, and anyone in her presence was always filled with joy. An ever fun-loving, Kind, generous, fierce, and protective soul.
Jean will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, including her loving wife, Gisele (Trou) Tiffany; her son, Freddy and his wife, Chelsea of Monson; her daughter, Tina and her fiancé, Dave of Granby; her sister, Heather Muller and husband, Rick of WV; her brothers, Charles of Granby and Raymond and his wife, Candy of NY; her grandchildren Brieanna Lemire, Marissa Lemire, and Brendon Tolles; her two nieces, Kimmy and Hilary; as well as many extended family members and friends. Let's not forget her best four-legged furry friend, Princes Plouffe.
Visitation will be from 9am-11am on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, 10 Maple St. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11am and burial will immediately follow in West Street Cemetery, Granby.
