Joaquim Serrenho Jr.

Brimfield -Joaquim Serrenho Jr., 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, March 27, 2022.

Joaquim (Jack) was born in Ludlow, MA on March 19, 1936 to Joaquim and Mary (Morgado) Serrenho. Jack lived in Springfield until moving to Brimfield MA. Jack faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had a 20 year career as a press operator for General Offset Printing then worked at Building 451 as a warehouse supervisor before enjoying retirement. Jack had a profound love for the outdoors, he spent many hours hunting, fishing, working in his yard and gardening. Anyone who knew him knew he had a wonderful sense of humor and was full of love.

Jack is predeceased by his loving wife of 64 years Joan (Veto) Serrenho and a loving daughter Sabrina Serrenho. Jack is survived by two children; Lisa Hackworth of Athens, AL and Michael Serrenho and his wife Mary of Brimfield, MA. Jack will be deeply missed by his five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home have been entrusted with arrangements in which all funeral services will be private. A mass and celebration of life will be at the family’s discretion at a later date.
