Dale E. Ewell, 59, of Greenfield MA, a son, brother, father, and mentor passed away on June 4, 2022. He was born on December 10, 1962, in Northampton, MA. Dale attended Amherst Regional High School and Springfield Technical Community College. He worked at Coca Cola, Deerfield Urethane, and as a private contractor. In his free time, you would likely find him fishing, hunting, or doing carpentry work. Dale was a handyman that could fix just about anything. He was also a dedicated volunteer for his community, serving meals to the destitute, and mentoring those struggling with substance use. Dale was predeceased by his father Calvin T. Ewell of Pelham. He is survived by his mother Dorothy Frost Ewell of Pelham, brothers Calvin Ewell and wife Donna of Montague, David Ewell and wife Christine of Wendall, sisters Sandra Holzhauer and husband Alan of Bernardston, Pearl Daley and husband Chris of Belchertown, the mother of his children Gwen Hubler of Pelham and his beloved sons Cody Ewell, Kyle Ewell, and Brendon Ewell. In addition, he leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. His family would like to invite all who loved Dale to attend a celebration of life gathering at the Second Congregational Church, 16 Court Square in Greenfield, MA on Thursday, June 30th from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Memorial donations can be made to ServiceNet Inc. Burial will be at Quabbin Park Cemetery, Ware MA at a later date.
