Worcester- John E. Lee, 73, passed away July 18, 2022 with family at his side. He was born on November 20, 1948 in Manhattan, New York, to the late Yook Foo and Anna (Croteau) Eng. During John's formative years, he and his family relocated to Thorndike, MA, where they owned and operated the Canton Restaurant for many years. After working for his father at the family restaurant, John later became employed as a disability van driver for over 15 years before his retirement. John absolutely loved sports. Not only did he enjoy playing sports but he loved watching and cheering on all of the New York teams. Besides his parents, John was preceded in death by his grandmother, Katie Peach, with whom he was very close. He will be dearly missed by his lifetime partner, Mary Adams Tetrault, and her children, John Scapin, Timothy Scapin, Patricia Scapin, Ann Marie Tetrault, and Bruce Tetrault. He also leaves his nephew, Edward Lopez, and many dear friends. John's services will be held at the family's convenience.
