Obituary of Susanne Yvonne Simons

"Belchertown, MA- Susanne Y. (Dore) Simons, 58 of Chauncey Walker St., died Saturday in Mary Lane Hospital with her family by her side. She was born in Chicopee, MA on July 10, 1943, and was the daughter of the late Emile and Yvonne (Vigneux) Dore. She has lived in Belchertown since 1977 and previously lived in Chicopee. Susanne was a hairdresser for 18 years at Holyoke Geriatrics and retired in June of 2001. She was predeceased by her husband Walter V. Simons on February 4, 2001. She is survived by four children, Richard of Belchertown, Christine Allen of Chicopee, Cynthia Jackson of Princeton, MA and Terry Gay of Belchertown, also four grandchildren. A funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. from the BEERS & STORY BELCHERTOWN FUNERAL HOME, followed by a mass of christain liturgy at 11:00 a.m. in St. George Church in Chicopee. Burial will follow in St. Rose DeLima Cemetery. A calling hour will be Tuesday from 9-10 a.m. Donations may be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905."
