Obituary of Albert R. Boulrice

Belchertown - Albert R. Boulrice, 90, was called home by God on January 27, 2020, to join his dear wife, Rita. Born December 6, 1929 in Springfield, he was the son of Albert and Mary Louise (Pigeon) Boulrice.  Albert has lived in Belchertown since 1966, previously of Ludlow.  He grew up in Indian Orchard and worked at A H Bartlett for 25 years.  As a dairy farmer, he took much pride in tending to his animals.  His greatest passion was for horses and he was secretary for the Pinto Horse Association and member of the Ludlow Riders Club.  He was part of the Ludlow Auxillary Police, NRA, and Republican Committee.  He sang in the choir at St. Anne's Church in Three Rivers and also worked for both the church and cemetery until the age of 80.    "Buster" will long be remembered as a "Feisty Frenchman" who was hard working and always on the move.  On August 10, 2019, he was predeceased by his wife, Rita Mae (Ashey) of 71 years.

He will be deeply missed by his 6 children, Joseph Boulrice (Christine) of Ludlow, David Boulrice (Lucie) of Springfield, John Boulrice (Pam) of Palmer, Amy Hutchinson (Robert) of Belchertown, Kathleen Kirley of Ludlow, Elizabeth "Beth" Gouin (Ron) of Belchertown, along with 11 precious grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.  "Buster" also leaves a sister, Alice Reilly along with his niece, Ellen Dickau (Martin).
