Obituary of Alfreda C. Forte

Alfreda C. (Nowak) Forte, 85, of Wilbraham, MA passed away February 6, 2020. She was born on July 17, 1934 in Ware, MA to Michael and Mary (Kopacka) Nowak.   Alfreda resided in Wilbraham, Ma for many years and was a communicant of St. Cecilia's Church.  She retired from Lego Systems at age 65. In her leisure, she enjoyed walking, knitting, sewing, cooking and most of all spending time with her family.  Alfreda is survived by four children, Ronald Forte of Ludlow, Gary Forte and his wife Cathy of Warren, Carol Forte of Monroe, NJ and Deborah (Forte) Baines and fiance Brian Babcock of Saratoga, NY.  She also leaves 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, Richard Forte, Jr and Barbara Forte as well as 7 siblings.  A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 10th at 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Ware.  Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4:00-7:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Cure PSP Association To make a donation online visit www.psp.org.  For more information please visit www.beersandstory.com
