Adney Russo was my coach and later in life, my friend. I have known very few people who could even begin to measure up to the man he was. You shall be missed and thought of often. with great love and respect...Rest in Peace Mr.Russo.

Aunt Norma, Tony, Timmy, Tommy, Todd and Family
Kelly and I were sad to hear about the passing of Uncle Sonny. We pray that he is at peace and in a better place. We wish you all the joy and happiness of celebrating his life and remembering his smile, sense of humor, laugh and especially that grin. Uncle Sonny was larger than life and whatever a "Bipper" is, he was the best one.
He will be missed.

My Uncle Sonny - yes, he could be tough. I spent a lot of time as a kid, especially summers, at his place with my cousins. One day he got sick of seeing my hair hanging down in my face so he took a piece of rope and tied it back. But as tough as he could be, that's how sentimental he could be. He would call my mom many years on her birthday and tell her he just filed a survey report at the town hall so it would have her birthdate on it. They were very close and very close in age - he was 11 months older. My mom used to tell me of their many adventures growing up together. Priceless memories I never tired of hearing them talk about every time they got together. He was always there for my mom and I over the years. Plowing the driveway in the winter, doing odd jobs around the house and installing a free standing fireplace and hearth. And when our beloved toy fox terrier Pooky passed away, he buried him with his favorite blanket in our back yard. After I moved to Georgia, we used to have talks on the phone and I still have priceless voicemails from him that I will never erase and listen to whenever I want to hear his voice. I love you my Uncle Sonny. Always.

Dad my heart will never heal. You were my hero, mentor, friend and my dad. We shared so many good times and laughs together and I’m so thankful that I got to be with you so much actually every day over the past three months. I’ll never forget our talks laughs and tears. You are my best friend and I’m glad that we did not part ways without each of us knowing our true feelings for each other. Until we meet again my man fly high. I love you
