Otilia Santos

Obituary of Otilia M. Santos

Otilia (Tillie, TiTi) Santos, 91 passed away peacefully at her home at Life Care Center of Wilbraham on May 24, 2020.  Born on August 25th, 1928 to the late Antonio & Albertina Santos  in Three Rivers, residing there up until 8 months ago when she made her new home at Life Care.  She was educated in Palmer schools and would proudly tell everyone that she worked at Tambrands for 46 years.  Tillie loved to travel the world in her younger years and loved to play bingo with her friends.  She loved cooking and baking and being with her family.  TiTi was a force to be reckoned with; she was strong and determined, yet sensitive and kind.  She was fiercely independent, but loved being with her family, especially her sister Patty Jusko, her nieces Kelly Laviolette & Shelly Majka, her nephew Kevin Jusko and her great-niece Meghan Majka all who cared for her and were at her bedside during her final days, but…if TiTi were writing this, she would say she “took care of them,” and she would be right.  TiTi lived at Life Care for only eight short months, but developed relationships with her caregivers that were beyond special.  So much love and gratitude for her Guardian Angel - Lisa Persson, Morgan, Laura, Deb, Sorina and Mandy, as well as all the others who cared for her.   In addition to her sister Patty, she leaves behind her sisters Laura Sullivan and Carol Drown, her brothers Walter and George and many nieces, nephews and friends.  She was predeceased by her brothers Alfred, Tommy, Tony, Daniel and Joseph, her sisters Irene Lewis, Mary Trybus, Rose Dugay and Lena Johnston.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 30. 2020 at St. Cecilia Church in Wilbraham.  Burial will be private.   The family will also have a memorial service at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Life Care Center of Wilbraham, 2399 Boston Rd, Wilbraham.
