Obituary of Wanda M. Frost

Holyoke -Wanda M. (Pula) Frost, 99, passed away June 7, 2020 with her daughter by her side, just one week before her 100th birthday.   She was born on June 14, 1920 in Holyoke, to Joseph and Anna (Kapinos) Pula.  Wanda lived most of her life in Holyoke and worked as a nurses aid for 15 years at Holyoke Hospital.  She was an avid reader, loved to cook and enjoyed trips to Foxwoods.  She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Lorissa Cabana and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband Vincent Frost,  seven sisters which she loved dearly, Agnes Jerzyk, Bertha Greany, Genevive Lindsey, Emilia Krasnoborski, Evelyn Johnson, Irene Dana,  a brother Edwin Pula and son-in-law Steven Cabana.   Burial will be at the convenience of the family and Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Salvation Army.
