Obituary of Sonja Faye Hancock

Sonja Faye Hancock of Palmer passed away June 15, 2020 at the Baystate Hospital in Springfield, MA. She was 71. Born in Little Compton, RI to Stanton Alfred Hancock Jr and Edna Dicey on January 8th 1949. She lived in Palmer from the time she was 8 years old. Sonja has touched many lives; she has many loving friends that she leaves behind who will dearly miss her. She had a truly beautiful smile, a great heart and a great sense of humor. Sonja was always on the go and really enjoyed a good book. She enjoyed some alone time as well as holding hands with a friend or going for a walk. She also enjoyed listening to live music in the comfort of her own home with her friends. She enjoyed going to the movies and going out to eat at one of her favorite restaurants afterwards. Sonja will be laid to rest in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Beers & Story Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
