Obituary of Anita M. Sabourin

Chicopee- Anita Marie Sabourin, 96, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2020. She was born on July 11, 1924 in Chicopee to the late Arsene and Imelda (Lachance) Guerin. Prior to retirement, Anita worked as a secretary at Westover Air Base. Growing up, she enjoyed going camping, water skiing, snow skiing, and taking trips with her sister Estelle. Anita was a devout Catholic and a lifelong communicant of St. Anne's in Chicopee. Besides her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Guerin, Theresa Keeler and Estelle Dube. She will be dearly missed by her three children, James Sabourin (Anne), Beverly Morley (Larry), and Richard Sabourin (Carol), as well as 7 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Due to current restrictions, Anita's funeral services are being held privately and at the discretion of her family.
