Obituary of Daniel M. Martin

South Hadley - Daniel M. Martin, 49, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2021.  Born November 22, 1971, he was the son of the late Eddie Josh and Carol Ann (Kleszczynski) Martin.  Danny grew up with his seven siblings in Holyoke and has lived in South Hadley for the past twenty years.  His love for cooking employed him at many local restaurants throughout the years.  Danny was known for his "larger than life" personality and certainly knew how to live life on his terms.  He was a huge Patriots fan and also enjoyed arguing politics with whomever was up for a good debate.  Danny's son, Maxwell E. Martin, was the center of his world, and he was so proud to be his father.  Besides his son, his memory will remain with his siblings and their families - Wayne, Kelly (Caira), Scott, Meg, Pattie, Jennifer (Washington), Erik and Marvin Quinones - who was like a brother to him.  Danny will also be long remembered by his lifelong friends, Paul Seifert and Dwight Spaulding, his very close aunt, Eileen Shelkey and her family, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.   A walk through visitation will be held Saturday, February 13th from 2:00-4:00 p.m.  at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home in compliance with current Covid regulations and restricted numbers.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to Danny's son, Maxwell.  A scholarship fund will be set up and information will be provided as soon as the fund is in place.
