So glad I read the paper today as I do not even get a subscription to it. In it I saw the notice of Jane's passing with great shock.
Jane was in my life for a short time. Yet it was a very full and happy time. We shared a few apartments together back in the 1960's in Boston. She was in a training program at Jordan Marsh to be a buyer. I worked at a fine china and crystal shop on Newbury Street. With her grandmother, who lived in Cambridge, we shared many laughs and memorable times.
Jane was such an energetic, positive woman. I often had a difficult time keeping up with her. She was so full of life.
It was nice to read of her life after we were no longer connected. Sorry I never had a chance to meet her family or have some time to share memories of those moments in the city. I hope everyone is sharing memories of her and enjoying the years she was with you all.

Dear Bob, I am saddened to hear of the loss of your lovely wife. I think of her often and wanted to touch base again many times. Suffield is a lovely town in which we have connections…small world. Jane helped me with her art on a designer show house I ran in 1998. We were having coffee at your Granby home and realized we had met fresh out of college and single when we both were in the Executuve Training Course at Jordan Marsh, Boston. later ten of us attended a Jr League Showhouse in Watertown to celebrate my birthday. What a grand day! I pray your memories and faith will make you smile in time. We shall all meet again!

I was so sorry to hear the sad news of Jane's passing. Jane and Bob were our neighbors across the street in Granby for over 10 years before they moved to the Cape. We spoke of her as "Mrs. Jane" and we always loved for her to come by for a visit . She was always so generous in helping to watch any of my 3 young daughters when I needed a hand. Some of my favorite photos of my kids were taken by Jane when she was here. We have missed Jane and Bob over the years already since they moved away. Our deepest sympathy to Bob, Sarah and Elizabeth. You are in our thoughts.
love,
Claudette, Emmie, Nicolette & Annalise

So sorry to hear about Jane. She was always warm and caring. I still enjoy her artwork of which I have quite a few examples in my house. I will think of her as I see them. My deepest sympathies to Bob and the family.
