Obituary of Sharon D. Ducharme
Sharon "Sheri" Diane Ducharme, 63, of Ware, MA passed away on June 17, 2021 at Baystate Medical Center from injuries sustained in a three-automobile accident. Calling hours will be held at Beers and Story Belchertown Funeral Home on Friday, June 25 from 11:00 a.m -12:30 p.m. Followed by a service of remembrance at 12:30 p.m.
She was born in Springfield, MA on September 4, 1957 to amazing parents, Conrad L. and Beverly A. (Albrecht) Ducharme of Belchertown. Sheri was raised in Belchertown and moved to CA for several years and moved back to MA in 2008 to be closer to her mom after her father’s passing. While she lived in CA she managed a group home for individuals with developmental disabilities. Her current employer was at The Center for Human Development in W. Springfield, MA where she was proud to be their assistant manager for where she worked since 2009.
Sheri had a passion for life and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed exploring new places and meeting new people. Her favorite beach was Bluff Point, Groton, CT. She loved the beach, bathing in the sun, walking in the sand, and finding new adventures. She was kindhearted and volunteered her time feeding the homeless on Thanksgiving and let friends into her home who didn’t have family or friends for the holidays. She truly cared for people’s well beings and would help anyone in need. She always lit up every party and made sure everyone was having a good time, she loved people. Above all Sheri enjoyed spending time with her daughter Tiffany and her family. She was always planning the next event and capturing photos of her loved ones through her passion of photography. Sheri’s best friends are Tina LaFlamme, Ann Roberts, Keith & Claire Roberts. Besides her mother, Beverly she will be deeply missed by her beautiful daughter, Tiffany and her three sisters, Debbie Ducharme of Belchertown, Sandi Chagnon of Longmeadow and Wendy Ashworth of Belchertown. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Yvonne Tidwell, Ciji St. Germain, Nick Hyatt & Uriah Ducharme and great nieces and great nephews, Aurora, Skyla, Dimitri, Malachi, Juliana, Sigurd & Nausicaa. Her loving cousins Terry Boan, Brian Boan, Chris Boan, Brenda Campbell, Freddy LaMarche, Danny LaMarche, Robert Rule, Linda Johnson, Steve Rule, Tim Rule, Denis Pete, Doris Spaulding, Rosalind Chicoine, Richard Ducharme, Raymond Ducharme.
Sheri is having a family reunion with her father Conrad, Grandparents Eleanor Albrecht, Rose Andrews & Ben Andrews & cousins Rusty, Irene & Jeannine.
