Obituary of Celeste I Morcom

Belchertown-Celeste I Morcom passed away at home on Monday, August 30, 2021. She was born August 5th, 1951 in Redwood City California, to Luella G. (McGrath) and Karl Kreuzer. In her late childhood the family moved to Bethlehem Pennsylvania. She briefly attended Ellicott College before transferring to Pennsylvania State University. While at Penn State she met and fell in love with Clifford Morcom. They both moved to Michigan while Clifford attended veterinary school. Clifford and Celeste married in 1979 in Charlestown, Rhode Island. They had three children. Celeste was a gifted artist with an inquisitive mind who sought out new music and hobbies. She loved animals and enjoyed spending her time training or walking in the woods with her dogs. She leaves behind her husband Clifford, her daughter Kathryn Morcom and her partner Matt, her daughter Sarah Morcom, her son Christopher and his wife Casey, her sister Celene Newcomb and her husband Chip. Services will be held at a later date to accommodate the pandemic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
