Obituary of Jean A Jones
Jean A. (Lovely) Jones, 85, passed away September 5, 2021 at Lifecare Center of Wilbraham with her family by her side. She was born on November 29, 1935 in Worcester, Massachusetts to George and Elizabeth (Browne) Lovely. Jean and her husband Donald lived most of their life in Monson, MA next to their good neighbors and friends Ann and Mark Lyons, until she and Donald moved to The Reserve at East Longmeadow. Jean worked as an x-ray technician for St. Vincent's Hospital in Worcester and Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer. After retiring from Wing Hospital, she worked for Home Health and Hospice, where she met many patients, but became very close with a special individual Markie. Jean was a very kind and loving person and in her leisure, she enjoyed traveling, swimming, gardening, and had a deep love of ginger ale. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband, Donald H. Jones in 2018 and her brother, Richard Lovely. She will be deeply missed by two daughters Darlene Laman and her husband Scott of Weare, NH and Brenda Jones of New Boston, NH and her dear friends Mary Fox and Patricia Reardon. She is also survived by her brother, George Lovely of Auburn, MA and two grandsons, Sean and Steven Laman, who were always close to her heart. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at the Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, which can viewed after the services have occurred by clicking https://client.tribucast.com/tcid/282963313. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Second Congregational Church of Palmer.
