Obituary of Nancy Lee Beaudette

BELCHERTOWN – Nancy Lee Beaudette, 69, died unexpectedly of a heart attack on October 3, 2021, at Baystate Hospital. Dan was with her.

Nancy grew up in Lisbon, CT, daughter of Gilbert and Odette (Cadou) Vertefeuille, both deceased. Gil and Odette indulged Nancy with horses from childhood. She always had one or more horses over the years, mostly rescues, with Tango still with us today. Her beloved Tuffy rests in the back pasture. She loved all animals and we have enjoyed being with some of practically everything. Nancy was particularly attached to her (canine) companion, Sabine.

Nancy leaves her husband, Daniel, children Jennifer and Joel, granddaughter Madison, sister Dianne (and Rod) Roche, nephews Eric and Chris, many aunts, cousins and their families. We also mention her lifelong friend Sue Caron in Connecticut.

A celebration of life will be held when it is safer for everyone to attend. She was concerned for people’s exposure to the virus. In lieu of flowers, Nancy asks that one makes a donation to the Dakin Humane Society in Springfield, MA
