I knew Bill for eight years, just about a fourth of my life. We talked pretty regularly during that whole time, not something that's too common these days. We'd talk for hours and hours, as well. He was stubborn and opinionated, but genuinely open to having his mind changed. A rare trait. That was something I always respected about him.
I wish we hung out more in person. Your absence will be felt in my soul.
