I just wanted to pass along our condolences. I met Dave as part of Boy Scouts. During my son's 4 years Dave was there on almost every camping trip. He was patient, a good teacher, and a pretty good cook.
Some photos of Dave during those outings and a video of him singing at campfire.

Rest in Peace Sir, It was a privilege to know you. Too bad it was so long since we had a pint together in the 'big O'. Thank you for everything you did for me and what you did to help the 41st, but most of all I know that every single one of the members of the 25th know what you mean to them.

I enjoyed working with Dave for about 10 years at SLI in Boston. He was always such a good-hearted man who represented the company so well and offered a very friendly presence in the office. Whether chatting about football (both playing and watching) or preferred after work beverages, he was quick with a laugh and looking on the brighter side of things. We all suffer from the loss of such a good person. My deepest sympathies to his family.

My deepest sympathy and condolences to you all at this most difficult of times. I had the privilege of working with and getting to know Dave as together we built our presence in Boston and the US. It was always a pleasure to spend time with and his advice was always first class. It was as a human being that his star shone so brightly and that’s why he will be sadly missed by all his many friends at SLI. I am so sorry I can’t be there in person to pay my heartfelt respects to a great guy I learned a lot from, Rest In Peace Dave.

We met Dave when our children swam together on club swim teams and later competed against each other in high school. Those swim meets can take a long time and we always loved when we'd get a chance to sit and talk with Dave. He had a great sense of humor - he could always make you laugh - and was a fantastic storyteller. Dave was so always generous with his time, energy and love, and he will be missed deeply by all those whose lives he touched. We offer our deepest condolences to Karen, Craig and Jennifer. With love, Dave, Julie, Spencer and Lydia
