Always an avid (and competitive) bridge player, she taught and played bridge with great enthusiasm at the Belchertown Senior Center until after she turned 100. She will be long remembered for her southern accent and her joy in everything that she shared wherever she went. A friend captured that spirit when she wrote, “She was always so happy and kind which made us always be in a better mood when we saw her. We love her and will miss her.”
