Judith Turner

Obituary of Judith Ann Turner

Judith A. Turner (83) of South Hadley, MA passed peacefully into the loving arms of God, surrounded by her family. Judith is survived by the love of her life - her husband of 65 years, Charles H. Turner, III. She is also survived by her large, loving family who were her pride and joy: five children (and spouses): Charles Turner, IV (Marcia) with their children Charles Turner, V (Rachael), Mitchell Turner, Camden Turner, and Cooper Turner; David Turner (Lauren) with their children Allison Lepper (Joseph) and Emily Fleming (Ryan); Debra Klepacki (Dwight) with their children Christine Heymanns (Neil), Bryan Klepacki (Rhonda), and Kimberly Garcia (Carlos); Judith Loughrey (Robert) and their children Ryan Loughrey (Alexandra), Robert Loughrey, and Matthew Loughrey; and Amy Doyle (Ted) with their children Jaclyn Doyle and Teddy Doyle; and 5 great-grandchildren: Anna, Ryan, Henry, Mia and Luca (with two more on the way).

Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Judith was the daughter of Charles E. and Lillian Turner of Wakefield, MA (both pre-deceased). She grew up in Wakefield, Massachusetts with her three sisters and attended Our Lady of Nazareth academy in Wakefield, where she performed in many school musical theater productions. She had a captivating presence on stage, and her voice was magnificent. After graduation, Judith went on to join the Boston Conservatory of Music and worked for many years as a real estate agent. Judith and Charles later established Turner Real Estate together. Through the years, Judith always made time to give back to her community, volunteering at hospital auxiliary boards, the Hay Scales Exchange, and garden clubs. She is pre-deceased by her eldest sister, Lillian Coolidge (Frank) and her sister-in-law, Ruth Connolly (Thomas). Judith is survived by her sisters, Patricia Riordan (Courtney) and Nancy Donahue (Charles), along with many nieces and nephews.

Judith was glamourous in every sense of the word. She brought music and laughter wherever she went, and would light up a room simply by entering it. Above all else, Judith loved her family, and was happiest when her large family was all together. She saw beauty in everyone, and it is through her special and unique bonds with each and every person whose life she touched that her vibrant spirit will live on and be forever remembered.
