Obituary of Ruth E. Roberts

Brimfield- Ruth E. Roberts, 94, passed away February 7, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 7, 1927 in Palmer to the late Joseph and Ellen (Hall) Furey. Ruth graduated from Palmer High School in 1944 and went on to work at her father's law firm, Joseph A. Furey Law Offices, for 23 years. She was later employed at Tambrands for over 10 years. Ruth was an expert knitter and also enjoyed crocheting, reading and crossword puzzles. The most important thing to Ruth was her family and enjoying every moment spent with them. Besides her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her son, Raymond R. Roberts Jr. and her great grandson, Devin. She will be dearly missed by her beloved husband, Raymond R. Roberts Sr., and their children, Robin Roberts, Roger and Chris Roberts, Randy Roberts, Ricky and Cheryl Roberts, and Mary and Gary Moore. She also leaves 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
