Obituary of Richard Paul Andras

Granby- Richard "Bud" P. Andras, 92, passed away May 1, 2022. He was born on January 20, 1930 in Westfield to the late August and Mary (Oleksak) Andras and was the youngest of eight children. Bud graduated from Westfield High School in 1947, served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War Era, and later retired from Hampden Papers in Holyoke after more than 40 years of employment. Besides his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his 3 sisters and 4 brothers. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Ann M. (Doherty) Andras; daughters, Lisa Andras and her partner Andy Chartier, Mary Beth and her husband Eric Leclair, and Lisa Guenette and her fiance Christopher Fesko; as well as his grandchildren, Max Karlin, Rebecca Karlin and Peyton Leclair. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7th from 2:00-5:00 PM at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home with a celebration of Bud's life to be shared at 4:00 PM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud's memory can be made to the South Hadley Council on Aging/Senior Center.
