There are lots people who you are friendly with.
Some become friends. That is a gift. Then there are some friends you do not see often but feel a special kinship with. A friend not matter what. When you do see them or get to chat with them you feel like you have been given a extra special gift. That is how Jim made me feel. Like we had just been together. His great smile, his great attitude, his welcoming words - his big heart will always be missed. To my wife he was, “Pete” (an inside joke), to me he was one of the best people I have ever known. I really mean that.

Deyo family, I’m so sorry for your loss. Jim was the kindest, most warm hearted human I have ever met. He always had a smile on his face. I’ll always remember his smile and his generosity in helping people. He was the best. RIP Jim. I know you’re reunited with your Marion.
Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Sorry to hear about the passing of Jim. He was totally “old school” and definitely a role model for me. Whenever I think it’s too cold to do something outside, I think of him riding his motorcycle to work on the cold (and even snowy) Massachusetts winter mornings!

Jim was the one of the kindest men I knew. Knowing him made you want to be a better man yourself. I only knew Jim through my business but he made you feel like family every time you spoke with him. We are blessed to know him and be a small part of his life. He would often stop into our shop to have a coffee and talk about his late wife that he missed deeply. He would have our whole staff in tears while he shared the love they had for one another. It was a love that you rarely see today. We know you are with your wife in Heaven now and at peace. Jim you were a bright light in a dark world. You will forever be in our hearts.
