Obituary of Christopher Michael Lawson

Christopher M. Lawson died unexpectedly at the age of 39 on July 23rd, 2022, just days before his 40th birthday.

Chris is survived by his parents, Joan and Paul Lawson of Palmer, his sister Heather Warren and her husband Fred of Hampden, and his brother, Timothy Lawson and his wife Heather of Cape Canaveral, FL along with a niece Adalynn, and nephews Jayden, Jonathan, and Jacob.

Chris was born in Springfield, MA on July 25, 1982. He graduated with high honors from Palmer High School. Living in Palmer for most of his life, he worked with his father delivering the Springfield Republican Newspaper for 21 years and worked at the Goodwill for 7 years before pursuing his true passion of writing. He’s written multiple poems and has had several books published

Aside from writing, he enjoyed reading, playing video games, and watching movies. If you knew Chris, you knew he loved the Beatles, Snoopy, Ghostbusters and Batman and had a large memorabilia collection.

He’s said to have brought joy and light to many people, and always had a smile on his face. He will be deeply missed.
