Obituary of Rolante "Rollie" A. Winot

South Hadley-Rolante "Rollie" (Granger) Winot, 88, formerly of Country Ln, passed away August 3, 2022.  Born in Claremont, New Hampshire on March 4, 1934, she was the daughter of Harvey Granger and Beatrice (Couture) Granger.  Rolante grew up in Claremont, NH and lived in South Hadley from 1961-1997.  She spent time with her late husband in Bonita Springs, Florida in 1997-2005. In her leisure, Rolante enjoyed spending weekends with her husband at their camper in Ashaway, RI. She loved singing, crocheting, playing bingo, and was an avid reader. Most importantly she loved spending time with her family. In 2003, Rolante was predeceased by her husband, Bernard and she leaves behind her son, David R. Winot of Palmer, her grandchildren, Kelly, Jessica, Joshua, Mathew, and Melissa and her twelve great grandchildren, as well as three great, great grandchildren, and a brother, George Granger of Lempster, NH.  Besides her husband, Rolante was predeceased by a son, Bernard Jr and two brothers, Philodore and Andrew Granger. A private burial will take place with her husband at Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley.  For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to Homes for Heroes, 9201 West Broadway Ave, Suite 615, Minneapolis, MN 55445.
