In retirement, Stanley and his wife Patricia built their dream home on Holland Pond in Belchertown, where he was a founding member of the Tri Lakes Watershed Association. He loved the outdoors, gardening, hunting, golfing, and walking his beagles. He was an avid reader of World War II novels and watched old movies.

In addition to his loving wife Patricia, he is survived by his children, Tracy Black and her husband, Adam of Lancaster, PA; Stanley “Rocky” Libucha and his wife, Alicia of Haverhill, MA; four cherished grandchildren, Madison and Nicole Black and Jack and Isabella Libucha; sisters in law Eleanor Malek of Hadley, MA and Joan Libucha of Hartford, CT, brother in law Charles Malek, niece Cynthia Malek and many loving relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
