



Obituary of Edward A. Toelken
Ware- Edward Arthur Toelken, 66, passed away November 17, 2022. He was born on October 2, 1956 in Springfield to the late Arthur Toelken and Beverly (Waldron) Judd. Ed previously worked as a Production Manager at Advanced Drainage Systems for 45 years before his retirement.
Ed was a life member of the NRA and enjoyed working on classic cars and motorcycles. His true passion, however, was hunting. Aside from hunting locally, Ed also traveled to places like Canada, New Mexico, and Wyoming to hunt animals landing in the Pope & Young Record Book. He cherished the moments spent in the woods with his brother, children, and grandchildren, instilling a passion and legacy of hunting in each of them.
Ed will be dearly missed by his wife of 44 years, Karen J. (Morrison) Toelken; their children, Morgan Toelken and wife Liberty, Crystal Russell and husband PJ, and Kyle Toelken and wife Erin; grandchildren, Kenzie Toelken, Timmy and Lexie Russell, and Lukas, Jacob, and Noah Toelken; brothers, Ron Toelken and life partner Donna Joyal, and Brian Toelken; step-brother, Dennis Blakely; and step-sister, Joyce Paroline.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Toelken and Beverly Judd, his step-mother Shirley Toelken, and step-brother Bruce Blakely.
A period of visitation will be held on Friday, November 25th from 4-7pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be held privately. Please visit www.beersandstory.com to extend online condolences.
