Obituary of Mary T. Rochon

Mary Teresa Rochon, 58, passed away December 1, 2022 at the Center for Extended Care in Amherst, where she has resided since 2019. Born October 9, 1964 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Armand and Eleanor (Dubray) Rochon.

Mary grew up in Chicopee and lived in Amherst for many years. Mary was a very loving and giving person to all. She especially loved and cared for all animals.

Mary will be greatly missed by her siblings, Girard Rochon and his wife Martha (Marty), Karen Tesny, Paul Rochon, Annette Rochon and Michael Rochon, one nephew Jonathan Tesny and his wife Julybett and great nephews Julian and Jackson, as well as many cousins and extended family members.

The family wishes to thank the caregivers and staff at the Center of Extended Care for their exceptional care and support they have provided to Mary through the years.

Also, a tremendous thanks to a very special cousin Mary Jane, who often visited Mary, playing her favorite games of trivia, and also provided extraordinary comfort to Mary and family for many years.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday morning, December 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi in Belchertown, with burial to follow at South Cemetery in Belchertown. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
