Obituary of Coreena L. Torres

Coreena Lynn Torres, age 42, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 12, 2023. She was born October 26, 1980 to Roy Patrie and Debra Tingen (Morin). Coreena had an insatiable love for Disney. She enjoyed sharing this love with her daughters and other family and friends, sometimes visiting multiple times a year. She also enjoyed time spent with the loves of her life, her 2 daughters, often times going to get their nails done or simply just enjoying a quiet night at home watching movies together. During the summertime, you could always find her with her sister and their families playing in the waves at the beach. Coreena also enjoyed spontaneous trips to places such as Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. Coreena was a dedicated and hard working employee. She worked as an operations manager in the Distribution Center for The Home Depot. She was respected and admired by those around her. Coreena is survived by her husband Nelson Torres of West Warren; their two children Jerzey and Elisabeth Torres of West Warren; her mother Debra Tingen of North Carolina; her step mother Norma Patrie of Palmer; her sister Jennifer Hestad (Patrie) and her husband Shane of Three Rivers; her sister Crystal Minion and her husband Jordan of North Carolina; her brother Gerald Hurlburt and his wife Kristie of Dalton; her sisters Linda Lamb of Monson, Laura Patrie of Palmer, and Debbie Patrie of Palmer and her many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her father Roy Patrie and her two brothers Daniel and Kenneth Patrie. She also leaves behind many other beloved friend and family members. Visitation will be held at Beers & Story Funeral Home 1475 N. Main Street Palmer, MA on Sunday, February 19th from 11a.m. – 2p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Alzheimers Foundation.
