Obituary of Ryan M Gohra

BELCHERTOWN: Ryan M. Gohra, 29, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at his home. He is survived by his parents, Joe Gohra and Terry Viens-Gohra; his sisters: Brittany Viens and her fiancé Matt Norris of Agawam and Brooke Gohra and her fiancé Cody Hand of South Windsor, CT; his grandparents, 2 aunts, 3 uncles, several cousins, and friends. He also leaves behind stalwart feline companions Rocky and Ruby and canine lovebugs Kiah and Zoey. 

Born and raised in Belchertown, Ryan proved that you can spread your roots far beyond your starting point by befriending people all over the US. He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania, spent time in California, and visited friends all across the states. An avid cook, Ryan enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen and cooking for friends and family. He also loved playing video games, hiking around the Quabbin Reservoir, playing with animals, and watching professional soccer and motorsports. Ryan had a deep appreciation for music and, in recent months, had begun producing his own electronic dance music with the hope of filling clubs and one day releasing his own album.
