I offer my heartfelt condolences to the Adzima family at the passing of Gloria Adzima.
I can recall how my late mother, Bertha Loftus, cherished her friendship with fellow St. Francis Church parishioners Mrs. Adzima, Mrs. Swank, Mrs. Fish, and Mrs. Lofland.
And I have fond memories of how Mrs. Adzima graciously opened her home to the Class of 1981 as throngs of students arrived at the Adzima farm to build a class float.
