Obituary of Colin J. Pedigo

South Hadley-Colin J. Pedigo, 21, passed away unexpectedly at his home on March 2, 2023.  Born May 3, 2001 in Springfield, he was the son of the late Mark and Nancy L. (Beaudreau) Pedigo of South Hadley.  Colin grew up and lived all of his life in South Hadley.  He graduated from Pathfinder High School in 2019 and worked for a few years in roofing and siding.  Most recently, Colin worked for the Springfield Dioceses Cemeteries in the grounds maintenance department.  Colin loved spending time outdoors, whether it was hiking, camping, fishing or hunting.  Playing horseshoes on the Granby Legion Horseshoe league with uncles, cousins, and friends was also treasured by Colin.  His sweet, kind, easy going personality was appreciated by all those who where a part of his life.  Colin most enjoyed the time he got to spend with his family.  His memory will forever remain with his mother, Nancy Pedigo and her partner, Lee, along with older sisters, Amanda Paquin and her husband, Danny and Bridget Duplisea and her husband, Adam.  Colin was a wonderful uncle to Lily, Mia, Haley, Marcus and Maryah and also leaves his paternal grandparents, Judy and Gerry Pedigo along with his maternal grandmother, Mary Beaudreau.  Aunts and uncles, Richard, Kevin, Karen and Dave, Shelly and many cousins will also miss him.  Besides his father, Colin was predeceased by great grandparents, Mary and Charlie Popko, and uncles, Ronnie and Michael Beaudreau.  A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 7 from 4-6:30 p.m. with a service to begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home.  Burial will take place privately for the family at a later date.  In honoring Colin's memory, please feel free to wear a "party" shirt to the visitation and service.  Please consider donations to Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew St. in Springfield, MA 01104
