Obituary of Glenna Knapp Rodd

Glenna Knapp Rodd, 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, March 2, 2023 in her daughter Michelle's home in Hoosick Falls, NY. She is survived by her five loving children: Gloria Gervais of Etowah, TN; Joyce Hutchinson of Ludlow, MA; David and his wife Micky of Ludlow, MA; Michelle and her husband Ray Angell of Hoosick Falls, NY and Rachel Nally of Hoosick Falls, NY; many beloved Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great, Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Glenna was born and raised in Lebanon, NH the daughter of the late Harry and Irene (Whitney) Hadley. She lived in Belchertown, MA for many years before moving to Hoosick Falls, NY to live with her daughters. She worked at Monson State Hospital, Belchertown State School and various group homes for several years. She was an active member of Hope United Methodist Church in Belchertown where she enjoyed participating in Bible study and singing in the choir. She was also a member of the Grange and loved spending time with family and friends, traveling when she could and spoiling her numerous cats throughout the years.

All are invited to attend her funeral service on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 1 pm at Hope United Methodist Church, 31 Main Street, Belchertown, MA 01007. Burial is private.
