She was raised in the Three Rivers section of Palmer and at the age of nineteen relocated to Belchertown and resided there ever since. She retired in 1990, from the Belchertown State School where she worked in administration for 22 years. Moe was a member of the Belchertown United Church of Christ. In her leisure, she enjoyed traveling and was an avid bird watcher. Her constant companion for many years was Major, the cat. As the saying goes:
May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back. May the sunshine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
