Obituary of William Henry Vageline

William "Will" H. Vageline, 65, of Belchertown, MA passed away March 25, 2023, at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer. He was born on December 1, 1957, in Springfield, MA son of Ralph Vageline and Betty (Kennedy) Costantini. Will lived in Springfield for many years before moving to Belchertown in 1982. He proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1976-1990. After being honorably discharged from the military, he worked at the bulk mail center in Springfield for the United Stated Post Office. Will loved spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting and golfing. He also enjoyed playing darts, but most of all loved to kick back and relax around the "pit fire" that he built. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor and great guy that he was to all. Willie also had a passion for music you could always hear him whistling along to his favorite toon. Besides his parents, he was predeceased in death by his stepdad, Dan Constantini, a sister Pat Bertelli and his brother-in-law Bruce Heck. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 16 years, Margo J. (Goodreau) Vageline of Belchertown, his daughter Tori Drake and granddaughter, Emma Drake of Kentucky. He also leaves a sister, Harlee Vageline of Palmer, stepsons, Eric Landry of Belchertown, John Griffith of Kentucy, brother-in-laws, Barry Goodreau of Belchertown and David Goodreau of FL, as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life in memory of Willie around the "Pit Fire" on Saturday, June 3rd starting at 2:00 p.m. with a rain date of June 4th.
