Obituary of June M. Sulewski

Chicopee-June M. (Guimond) Sulewski, 83, passed away April 14, 2023. She was born June 5, 1939 in Holyoke, daughter of John and Dorothy (Knowles) Guimond. June grew up in South Hadley and lived in Chicopee since 1963. She was a secretary in the Chicopee Public Schools. In her leisure, June enjoyed playing golf with her late husband and traveling. Her greatest love was the time spent with her family. In 2015, June was predeceased by her husband Louis R. Sulewski. She will be dearly missed by her children, Cynthia Dobosz and her husband John of Chicopee, and John Sulewski and his wife Rachel of Bryan, TX. June also leaves three grandchildren, Amy Woodruff, Katherine Farrell and Andrew Sulewski as well as two great-grandchildren, Logan and Lukas Farrell and her beloved sister, Jacqueline Bourque of South Hadley. June also leaves another son, Louis R. Sulewski, III. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Allen Guimond. Visitation will be held Monday, April 24 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home with a funeral Mass at 12 pm at St. Anne's Church in Chicopee. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery in South Hadley. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Thomas J. O'Connor Adoption Center.
