Obituary of Carol A. Hebert

Belchertown-Carol Ann (Morris) Hebert, 67, passed away May 11, 2023 at home. Carol was born in Holyoke on December 22, 1955, daughter of Gerald and Janet (Perron) Morris. She grew up in Holyoke and attended Holyoke High School. Carol then went on to honorably serve her country in the US Army in Germany. She met and married Kirk Baker. Carol then studied Liberal Arts at Holyoke Community College and worked as a legal secretary at Pellegrini, Seely, Ryan and Blakesley, P.C. as well as being a paralegal at Nicolai Law Group, P.C. In her leisure, Carol loved time spent at the beach and in the water. She loved animals, concerts and music. Traveling was a joy and her favorite trip was to see wildlife in Africa. For over 35 years, Carol has lived in Belchertown. She wasn't shy to express her opinion and her tenacity certainly helped her win her recent battle with cancer. Carol is survived by her brother, David Morris and his wife Mary of Holyoke, as well as their children, Sheila, Aaron and Scott. Carol's husband, Gary Hebert and his brothers, Dan Hebert and his wife Janice, Brian Hebert and his wife Cindy, Roy Hebert and his wife Jean and Mark Hebert and his wife Tammy also survive her. Carol's beloved goddaughters, Sarah Dunn and Kerry Strong will also cherish her memory. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 31 at 11:00 a.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery. Please gather directly at the cemetery. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations in her memory to the Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Contral Center.
