Obituary of Dennis L. Manley

South Hadley - Dennis L. Manley, 81, passed away June 25, 2023. He was born on August 1, 1941, in Albia, Iowa to Cecil and Maymie (Hurd) Manley. Dennis proudly served his country in the US Air Force which he was stationed out of Westover AFB, in Chicopee. He worked for many years as a supervisor for Paul Martin Rubber in Holyoke. Dennis was an avid fisherman, he enjoyed feeding the birds as well as working in his garden, taking pride in growing the best tomatoes. He will be deeply missed by his wife Lorraine (Giroux) Manley and children, Joseph Avery of NH, Sheila Avery of S. Hadley and Patrick Avery of NH. He also leaves 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and extended family members. A Funeral Mass will be held on Mon., July 3rd at 11:15am at St Patrick's Church a calling hour will precede the Mass from 10:00am-11:15 am at the church. Burial with military honors will take place at 1:00pm at the Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam.
