Obituary of Kathleen Cole

South Hadley- Kathleen Cole, 94, passed away July 13, 2023. Kathleen was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late Francis A. and Elizabeth (Barrett) Cole. She grew up and attended school in D.C.
After graduating from St. Mary of the Woods College, Kathleen worked at the District of Columbia Public Library for 9 years. In 1960, she received her MLS degree in Library Science from Carnegie Institute of Technology and moved to South Hadley. She began working at the Mount Holyoke College Library where she held a variety of positions until her retirement in 1993. 
Kathleen loved her home, her cats, her family, and friends, many of whom predeceased her. In honoring Kathleen's wishes, all services will be held privately.
