Obituary of Robert Jay Goldenberg

South Hadley-Robert "Bob" Goldenberg, 65 passed away on July 27, 2023 after a fierce fight with pancreatic cancer.  Bob was born on May 20, 1958 to Ruth (Josephs) and Harry Goldenberg in Holyoke, MA.  Bob graduated from Holyoke High in 1976 and went on to work for his father's distribution business.  After his father's retirement, Bob grew C.A.R. Products, Inc. into both a local and international company.  He worked there for his entire life until he sold the business.  He was a wonderful boss and employer to his team members.  

In 2000, Bob married Peach (Lewis) and had one daughter Carly Goldenberg, who will be a freshman at University of Arizona.  He was a most loving and devoted father and husband to his family.  Bob enjoyed riding in his 67 GTO, going to cruise nights with his friends, boating and playing with his dogs, Marco & Polo, as well as taking beautiful beach vacations with his family.  Bob is survived by his wife of 23 years, Peach Goldenberg and daughter Carly Goldenberg, as well as his brother, Steve Goldenberg, nephew, Will Goldenberg and family, his cousins, Elaine Barr and Ann Krone, and many friends and colleagues who all loved him dearly.  

Services will be held at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home on August 7 with a visitation time at 2 p.m. and a service to begin at 3 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to the Wounded Warrior Project an organization Bob felt strongly about.  Please visit www.beersandstory.com.
