Obituary of Jason E. Fernandez
Holyoke- Jason E. Fernandez, 44, passed away after a brief courageous battle on August 6, 2023. He was born on March 7, 1979 in Holyoke to Eduardo and Sharon (Lusignan) Fernandez. After graduating from Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School for HVAC, Jason began a career in the duct cleaning industry, eventually owning his own duct cleaning operation "Mr. Hood". Jason was the kind of person who could excel in anything. He obtained his CDL and began driving for numerous companies, most notably for Hood Industries. He then found his true calling in sales, establishing himself in the automotive and towing industry. Jason introduced the Express Pay online credit processing system into the towing industry alongside his good friend, Bill Johnson, of the Johnson Groups. Together, they enjoyed traveling to trade shows throughout the years. He is also credited with starting the Hot Cars Kill initiative in Western Massachusetts. Jason lived each day as though it was his last, and he will be truly missed by many.
Besides his parents, Jason leaves his children, Isabelle and Tyler Fernandez. He also leaves his sisters, Samantha "Sam" Fernandez and Angela "Angie" Lusignan; as well as many extended family and friends.
