



Obituary of Richard E. Daviau
Easthampton- Richard E. Daviau, 51, was taken tragically on August 4, 2023 in Florida. The son of Gregory Barron and Christina Constantine, he was born on September 25, 1971 in Holyoke. Rich attended Chicopee High School, and with a passion for culinary arts, attended the Culinary Institute of America in Baltimore.
Rich was the owner of Damn Yankees BBQ in Deerfield, and was currently co-owner of Prim3 St3akhous3 in Southwick, a restaurant he established with his siblings, Deborah and Todd. He was also a member of the Palmer chapter of L.A.M.A (Latin American Motorcycle Association).
Richard was preceded in death by his father, Gregory Barron. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Sonya (Lastowski) Daviau; mother, Christina Constantine, and her partner, Ronald Krzeminski; siblings, Todd Daviau, Deborah Daviau, Yvette Garza, Jonathan Barron, and Bethann Barron; children, Becca, Samantha, Brianna, Elizabeth, Kaylie, and Abel; granddaughter, Scarlet Lili; best friend, Chris Ford, and wife, Jess; his "fur princess" Stella, and grand-pup, Finley; his brothers and sisters of L.A.M.A; and many dear relatives and friends.
A period of visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 10:00am-2:00pm with a memorial service to begin at 2:00pm at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s name can be made to The Wounded Warrior Project, or a Veteran organization of your choice.
