
Obituary of Victor E. Brunelle
Granby-Victor Brunelle, 77, passed away August 8, 2023 at Holyoke Medical Center. Born September 2, 1945 in Holyoke, he was the son of Raymond and Yvonne (Labonte) Brunelle. Victor grew up in Holyoke and settled in Granby with his family in 1977. Victor and his late wife, Suzanne, met as teenagers, and devoted their lives to each other. They enjoyed country music and taking trips together to Nashville along with cruises through the years. Victor loved his life in Granby with his family and dear neighbors on Griswold Circle. He took great pride in owning such a lovely home in such a beautiful town. June 24, 2022, his wife, Suzanne (Peters) Brunelle passed away. Victor's love and memory will be cherished by his children, Jay Brunelle and Karie Newsome of Port Saint Lucie FL, and Amy and David Bergeron, with whom he lived. He leaves his grandchildren, Justin Brunelle and Devin and Ethan Bergeron. Victor will also be missed by his brothers-in-law Albert Peters, Raymond Peters and his wife Linda, and Philip Peters, as well as, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Ashlee Brunelle his two brothers, Conrad and Paul Brunelle, and his in laws Rose Peters and Russ and Gail Atkinson. A graveside service will be scheduled in the future at West Cemetery in Granby, where Victor will be laid to rest with his wife, Suzanne. Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
