Obituary of Jeffrey A Morse

Springfield -Jeffrey A Morse, 52, passed away on September 5, 2023. Born in Northampton, MA, he was the son of the late Kenneth A. Morse and Beverly A. (Campbell) Morse of South Hadley. Jeff was raised in South Hadley and graduated from South Hadley High School. He went on to graduate from Westfield State with a bachelor’s degree and then received a master's degree in business administration from Cambridge College in Springfield. Jeffrey was currently employed with Glen A. Ladd Accounting & Tax Services in Chicopee for the past 8 years. Jeff was most proud of the time that he served his country in the US Army for over 20 years, serving in two tours overseas in Kuwait and Iraq. Jeff loved spending time with his family and enjoyed being outdoors. He was a history buff, an avid reader, was fond of cooking, and had a collection of Marvel movies, and various other collectables. Besides his mother Beverly, he is survived by his two daughters Lauren Morse of TX and Hannah Morse of Chicopee along with his wife, Marilin Negron and stepchildren Destiny & Aalyn Negron. He will also be missed by his sisters, Deborah Couture of Granby and Kimberly Seaver of Granville, as well as a niece Sarah and nephews Jonathan and Zachary Couture. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Sept. 10th from 4:00-7:00 pm at Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home. On Monday at 9:00 am family and friends may gather at the Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home parking lot to follow in procession to a graveside service with military honors at the Mass. Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam for 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
