Obituary of Eunice F. Taylor

Eunice F. Taylor, 82, of Ware, Massachusetts passed away September 12, 2023, at Baystate Medical Center Springfield, Massachusetts. She was born on August 12, 1941, in Timberlake, NC to Jessie and Lela Chambers. Eunice lived in Palmer for most of her life until she moved to Ware, MA in 2011. She worked as a lieutenant for the Holyoke Police Department for 20 years and retired from the Wall Street Journal where she worked for 20 years as the section chief engineer of computers. After retiring she worked alongside her husband, as a secretary for his business Taylor Freight from 1995-2014. In her leisure she enjoyed doing arts & crafts especially cross-stitching. She will be deeply missed by her husband, James Taylor and children, Kimberyl Lavorante, Craig Tingen, Becky Tingen, Rob Tingen and Jeremy Tuomisto. She is also survived by a sister, Myrtle Pollard, brother Johnny Downey, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Nathan Curtis Tingen, two sisters, Cora and Emma. Calling hours will be held on Monday, Sept. 18th from 3:00 pm-6:00 pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
