Obituary of Gregory Scott Desmarais

Gregory (Greg) Scott Desmarais, 52, of Ellington CT passed away Monday November 13th, 2023 surrounded by his family. Greg was born November 4th 1971 in Holyoke and was the son of David and Sandra Desmarais. He grew up in Chicopee, graduated from Chicopee Comp in 1989 and worked with his father at the family business Pioneer auto sales.

He will be missed by his fiancé Michelle Mather and her three children; his son Justin Desmarais and wife Breanne along with his cherished grandchildren Greyson and Brooksley; his sister Melanie White and husband Peter along with his nieces and nephews Katelyn, Carter, Cody, Kalli and Kara.

Greg was a kind, smart, well liked person who could make friends with anyone due to his charming personality. He was a big kid at heart. He enjoyed boating, flying drones, working on cars, music, fitness, eating, video games, animals, movies and Youtube.

His greatest joy was sharing these past times with his family and friends. He will be forever in their hearts.

Visitation will be Friday November 24 from 1pm-3pm with words of remembrance to conclude.
